The Center for
Rehabilitation at Maria Manor is
designed for those with Short-Term rehabilitation
needs. Until recently, most of these residents
would have been rehabilitated in a hospital setting.
New regulations limit the number and type
of rehabilitation patients that can stay
in the hospital.
This 32-bed, dedicated short-term unit
mirrors the rehab programs offered at many
hospital and rehab centers. Our dedicated
unit has separate dining and a dedicated
wing to only short-term alert rehabilitation
residents. The newly renovated unit has
carpeted rooms. This entire unit is dedicated
to your short-term stay and return home.
For those with orthopedic injuries or surgeries,
the CORE or Center for Orthopedic Excellence
has been designed specifically for those
rehabilitating from the following:
- Fractured Hip
- Hip Replacement
- Knee Replacement
Those here in the CORE program are likely here
to stay in the range of 20 days or less and
then return to a lower level of care
with an outpatient or home care referral. |
